MATCHBOX MODE

The win condition is inverted. Instead of clearing all cells, you win when zero matching neighbor pairs remain on the board. Think of it as un-matching the grid.

KEY DIFFERENCES

• Win when 0 matching adjacent pairs remain (not when all cells are cleared)
• 8-directional matching (same as Classic)
• Rerolls are random
• Hints are available and show current matches
• The 'matches' counter in the stats row shows remaining pairs to eliminate
• Clearing cells helps, but the goal is eliminating pairs. Sometimes rerolling is enough

TIPS

• Focus on breaking up clusters of the same number
• Sometimes it's better to reroll a cell to break a pair than to try to clear it
• Watch the matches counter, it's your real score
• Late game: hunt for the last few pairs hiding in corners
